May 26, 2011 The habit change of June
Activity:
Starting on June 1, or earlier perhaps, I am going to start walking more. It sounds small to some, sure. You have to understand, though, I’m not that active.
My job is in information systems. This means that I sit in a chair all day with very little activity. I don’t move around at all unless necessary. So ONE of the things that I’m going to work on in June is activity. This means:
- I won’t take any elevators.
- I won’t take escalators.
- I won’t sit all the time.
- When I get home I will work on not being stagnant even while doing things that, by nature, are stagnant.
Food:
Here are the dietary changes that I’m going to make.
- Cut out all carbonated beverages and stick to only water and certain teas.
Now, I’m not quite sure I can carry out these things but I’m going to give it my dead level best. I’ll journal about it here.
